The Dalton School (New York, NY)

This is a collection of family and published recipes submitted by 5th grade students. The sales of this cookbook helped to raise money to support Notre Dame du Perpétuel Secours, a school located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, after the devastating earthquake that occurred on January 12, 2010. The Linguist was a publication of the high school student Linguist Committee in the late 1960s. The publication features articles, creative writing, poetry, interviews, puzzles, and recipes written in French, Spanish, Russian, or Latin. Original student writing as well as English translations of published work is included. Many of the articles are illustrated with student drawings.
