The Linguist was a publication of the high school student Linguist Committee in the late 1960s. The publication features articles, creative writing, poetry, interviews, puzzles, and recipes written in French, Spanish, Russian, or Latin. Original student writing as well as English translations of published work is included. Many of the articles are illustrated with student drawings.

The inaugural issue of Wrapping Paper was published on April 9, 1974. A mimeographed student newspaper, it was conceived as an alternative to the long established student newspaper, The Daltonian.
