Scope and Contents
Organizational documents of the Dalton School begins in 1921. Formerly known as the Children's University School, this collection contains primary source documents on the process in which the Dalton School was incorporated. Included are materials showcasing the consolidation of the Dalton School with Todhunter School, including charters, consolidations, by-laws, and other relevant materials. Bulk of adminstrative materials range from the dates 1920s to 1930s.

Conditions Governing Access
The Dalton School’s archival records–other than widely distributed records, such as school publications and publicity materials–are available only to the current Head of School, the office of origin, and the Dalton School Archives staff. Access by others will be given consideration when a written request is presented to the Archivist and written approval has been obtained from the appropriate individual in the office of origin or the Head of School.
