Little Dalton Magazine: How We Came to Be, Volume 5, Issue 1, September 2006
Abstract, Scope, Contents
The inaugural issue of Little Dalton Magazine was published November 2002. Targeting an audience of Dalton School First Program students and parents, the publication offered “information about the school and what’s happening.” Focusing on Little Dalton, the goal of the magazine was to inform the community about students and teachers, as well as restaurant reviews, arts and fashion, sports and current events. Conceived by a student, the staff consisted of 2nd and 3rd grade volunteers to put out the magazine, guided by faculty advisors to whom the students dictated their stories.
