The Left Bank, No. 1, undated (circa 1969)
Abstract, Scope, Contents
“The roots of The Left Bank come out of the growing dissatisfaction with the war in Vietnam and the racial turmoil in America.” This high school student newspaper was a journal of opinion designed as an answer to “the unwillingness of the Daltonian to publish anything of a highly controversial nature. “ Unlike The Daltonian, it was not an official student publication of the Dalton School. The inaugural issue is the only issue in the collection.
