A few wood cut illustrations appear in each issue as well. The magazine included faculty contributions beginning with the April/May 1931 issue. The Linguist was a publication of the high school student Linguist Committee in the late 1960s. The publication features articles, creative writing, poetry, interviews, puzzles, and recipes written in French, Spanish, Russian, or Latin.
