Philosophy and Practice, Volume I, Fall 1990
Abstract, Scope, Contents
Philosophy and Practice is a compilation of senior high school student papers written during a 1989-1990 education course of the same name. From the editor’s statement, “the papers to follow represent an attempt by students and teachers to reflect on the tension between theory and practice in education. The topics vary enormously but they share the characteristic philosophical concern with concepts, the problem of explicating their meaning, and the attempt to specify the consequences for human action.”
Faculty member Thomas de Zengotita along with teachers and former students, Luyen Chou and Joshua Reibel, edited the publication.
